Kingston SSDNow V200: the budget SSD with SATA 3.0

For cost conscious users who want to buy a high-performance SSD-drive, Kingston has proposed a new model SSDNow V200, provided in the framework of the budget line SSDNow V Series. Compared with the predecessor V100, the novelty differs more than twice as high speed and the 20% cheaper.

The drive uses MLC NAND chips, the JMicron controller and interface SATA 3.0, with a bandwidth of 6 Gbit/with. The model series V200 met in a 2.5-inch form factor and have a capacity of 64, 128, or 256 Gb. The declared time between failures(mtbf is 1 million hours. Read/write speed of 64-Gb models are 260/100 Mb/s, respectively, 128-Gb - 300/190 Mb/s, 256-Gb - 300/230 Mb/with.
