I want to purchase Samsung Galaxy Ace in India. I wanted to know if the phone would work if i Travel to the United States.

Yes, if you buy a phone in India from a Samsung retailer it will work in any part of the world as its a quad band phone. Please make sure you buy it without any service contract from any India based cellular service provider.
