In the next few weeks Google will introduce encryption search queries.
As it follows from the appeared yesterday in the official blog of the Internet giant's message, became available to the site https://www.google.com (owners of the Google accounts once logged in automatically being sent to him), search which will be carried out with the use of data encryption by means of the SSL protocol. According to Google, "this is especially important if you use an unsecured connection to the Network, for example, through an access point Wi-Fi access in the Internet-cafe".
One of the advantages of the introduction of the new protocol lies in the fact that the specific search queries each user will now be kept secret from the owners of the web sites. So, for example, if you entered in the search engine Google the request and after the issuance of the results of the passed on to any site, the latter will be fixed only information about what you came here for https://www.google.com, and the contents of the search query will not be transmitted. Site owners can only available in the Google Webmaster Tools with 1000 of the most popular queries for which they passed on their website in the last 30 days.
The exception of the new rules to hide the requests made in the ratio of advertisers. If you click on the advertisement on the search results page (usually the advertisement is displayed on the right), the advertiser still know your search query. Thus, conducting advertising campaign will learn about its effectiveness.
Let's Remind, Google has long been concerned with the problems of security in the Network. Earlier the SSL protocol was introduced to the e-mail service Gmail, and in 2010, Google launched a beta version of its search engine with encrypted traffic https://encrypted.google.com.
